Boise State 8, Nevada 3
Nevada took an early lead, but the Broncos answered in the bottom of the first and never looked back in an 8-3 win over the Wolf Pack in the first half of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon in Boise. Lela Work earned the win, striking out 11.

Boise State 11, Nevada 10
The two teams combined for 21 hits, but the Broncos' Work drove in two runs in the bottom of the seventh to give Boise State an 11-10 win over Nevada in the second game of a rain-soaked doubleheader at Mountain Cove Softball Field. Work earned the win in the circle and Devon Bridges was 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI.


Fresno State 10, Louisiana Tech 1
The Bulldogs scored a run in each of the first four innings before notching four runs in the fifth and adding two more in the seventh in a 10-1 rout of the Lady Techsters in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. Haley Gilleland provided a pair of the Dogs' school-record tying three triples in the game and Rebecca Hall provided the other. Nicole Angene bombed a home run in the second inning and Rebecca Walker crushed an opposite field solo shot in the sixth. As a team, Fresno State pounded a season-high 14 hits, including 10 for extra bases, while Michelle Moses earned her sixth victory in the circle this year. Erin Kipp suffered the loss for Tech.

Fresno State 2, Louisiana Tech 1 (9)
In the series finale, the Bulldogs outlasted the Techsters as the pitcher's duel between the Dogs' Mackenzie Oakes and Tech's ace Megan Krieg was decided by Fresno State's key execution in the clutch. Diane Runge, who pinch ran for senior catcher Caitlin Stiglich after a hard hit single through the left side, scored from second base on a deep sacrifice fly by Angene in the ninth to push the Bulldogs past Tech 2-1. Oakes picked up the win, striking out six. Krieg took the loss, allowing just five hits and striking out seven.


New Mexico State 9, San Jose State 0 (5)
Valerie Swedberg hit a pair of homers as NM State blanked San Jose State 9-0 in five innings in the first half of a doubleheader Saturday in Las Cruces. Alex Newman earned the complete-game win for the Aggies, allowing just one hit.

New Mexico State 18, San Jose State 9 (5)
The two teams combined for 23 hits, but the Aggies used an 11-run third inning to take the lead for good in an 18-9 five-inning win over the Spartans in the nightcap. Ashley Maroda drove in six runs for NM State, while Newman earned her second win of the day, allowing two runs on four hits over 3.1 innings.


Hawai‘i 8, Utah State 0 (6)
The Rainbow Wahine posted four runs in the bottom of the fourth and ended the game in the sixth inning when Sharla Kliebenstein drew a bases loaded walk to go up 8-0. Kaia Parnaby fired a three-hit shut to earn her ninth win of the season. She had 10 strikeouts. Jessica Iwata led UH at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBI and a home run. Kliebenstein tied her career high with four RBI.

Hawai‘i 2, Utah State 0
In the finale, Hawai‘i scored the only runs of the game in the bottom of the sixth, when Jasey Jensen ripped a two-run double over the leftfielder. Stephanie Ricketts fired a three-hit shutout with no walks and six strikeouts to earn her 15th win of the year. Ricketts tossed her 21st complete game and seventh shutout of the season.
