The 2011 WAC women's basketball tournament bracket has been set as teams wrapped up regular season play on Saturday. Tournament play begins on Wednesday, March 9, and will conclude with the championship game on March 12. The tournament will be hosted by the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Louisiana Tech 65, Idaho 55
Louisiana Tech donned WAC championship t-shirts, league commissioner Karl Benson presented the trophy and the Lady Techsters players cut down the nets as part of the postgame celebration following a 65-55 win over Idaho Saturday afternoon at the Thomas Assembly Center. With the victory, LA Tech (23-6, 15-1 WAC) clinched the outright regular season title - its eighth in 10 years of affiliation with the WAC. The Vandals drop to 14-14 on the year and 7-9 in WAC play.
The Lady Techsters shot 43 percent from the field, 42 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line on the game. Idaho connected on 39 percent from the field, 19 percent from downtown and 78 percent from the charity stripe on the game. LA Tech out-rebounded the Vandals 37-30.
Adrienne Johnson posted her 14th double-double of the season with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Jasmine Bendolph added 11 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Alyssa Charlston led Idaho with 10 points.
Fresno State 73, Nevada 50
The Bulldogs won their 23rd game of the season Saturday, defeating the Wolf Pack 73-50. With the win, Fresno State improves to 23-7 overall and 14-2 in WAC play. Nevada falls to 20-9 on the year and 9-7 in the WAC.
The Bulldogs shot 51 percent from the field, 27 percent from three-point range and 75 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Wolf Pack connected on 31 percent from the field, six percent from beyond the arc and 57 percent from the charity stripe. Nevada out-rebounded Fresno State 39-36.
Hayley Munro paced the Bulldogs with 16 points, while Jaleesa Ross added 15 and Taja Edwards finished with 13 points.
Nevada was led by Kayla Williams with 13 points and eight rebounds.
New Mexico State 82, Boise State 51
The Aggie seniors shone in an 82-51 win over Boise State in their regular-season finale Saturday afternoon. With the win, NM State improves to 13-17 on the year and 7-9 in the WAC. The Broncos drop to 12-18 overall and 3-13 in WAC play.
New Mexico State shot 41 percent from the field, 61 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line on the game. Boise State connected on 29 percent from the field, 26 percent from beyond the arc and 74 percent from the line. The Aggies edged the Broncos on the boards, 43-42.
Danisha Corbett led all players with 21 points, followed by Madison Spence with 18 and Jasmine Lowe with 14.
Melissa Rima led the Broncos with 10 points.
Utah State 75, San Jose State 39
Utah State connected on more than 50 percent of its shots in a 75-39 win at San Jose State Saturday. With the win, the Aggies improve to 16-13 overall and 10-6 in the WAC. The Spartans close out the season 2-27 on the year and 2-14 in conference play.
Utah State shot 53 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range and 63 percent from the free throw line on the game. San Jose State shot 25 percent from the field and 68 percent from the charity stripe. The Spartans were 0-for-9 from downtown. The Aggies out-rebounded SJSU, 37-30.
Alice Coddington led Utah State with 11 points, followed by Jenna Johnson and Ashlee Brown with 10 each.
The Spartans were led by Marnesha Hall with 14 points.
