SAN JOSE, Calif. -(FS Media Relations) The No. 9 Fresno State baseball team won its 22nd game of the season on Sunday after beating San Jose State 5-3. Louisiana Tech 10, New Mexico State 0 (7)

RUSTON, La. -(LT Media Relations) Kyle Roliard was 3-for-5 with three runs batted in and Mike Jefferson and Caleb Dudley combined to allow just four hits as Louisiana Tech run-ruled New Mexico State, 10-0, Sunday afternoon at J.C. Love Field. Jefferson (3-2) issued two walks in the top of the first but escaped the jam as the Aggies flied out on three occasions in the innings. READ FULL ARTICLE


Nevada 2, Seattle 0

RENO, NEV. -(Nevada Media Relations) The Nevada baseball team (10-17) outlasted the Seattle Redhawks (12-14) in a 2-0 pitcher's duel that lasted just one hour and 57 minutes. With one out in the bottom of the eighth and Waylen Sing Chow on first, Carlos Escobar Jr. broke up a 0-0 with a two-run shot to deep left center. Hawai‘i 3, Sacramento State 2

HONOLULU –(UH Media Relations) The University of Hawai'i baseball team defeated Sacramento State Sunday, 3-2. The Rainbows sweep the series to improve to 18-14 overall and open the WAC season at 4-0 for the first time in 11 years. The Hornets drop to 9-24 and 0-4.  The Rainbows opened the scoring early with Zach Swasey (3-3) delivering a two-RBI double to give his team a 2-0 lead after two innings. READ FULL ARTICLE
