SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento State baseball team used a walk-off win the first game of  a Western Athletic Conference doubleheader with No. 12 ranked Fresno State on Saturday at John Smith Field. The Hornets took game one, 2-1, after scoring both of its runs in the seventh inning while.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The No. 12 Fresno State baseball team got off to a fast start in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader scoring six early runs. The Bulldogs won the final game of the series 12-4 over Sacramento State. The Dogs improve to 28-7 overall record and 8-3 in Western Athletic Conference play.

Nevada 8, New Mexico State 3


RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada baseball team (15-20, 4-3 WAC) defeated the New Mexico State Aggies (27-13, 5-7 WAC) 8-3 today to complete its four-game sweep of the season. LHP Brock Stassi (1-1, 6.59 ERA) earned his first victory of the season, holding the Aggies to two runs (one earned) on five hits in five innings. Stassi struck out four hitters and walked four.

Valparaiso 7, Hawai‘i 2



HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i baseball team lost Saturday to Valparaiso, 7-2. The game was the series finale, as Valpo improves to 17-22 and the Rainbows drop to 22-17. Kolten Wong batted 2-3 to lead the Rainbows, adding one run and one RBI. Sean Montplaisir and Collin Bennett each recorded one hit, with Breland Almadova posting one run and Zack Swasey adding one RBI.
