New Mexico State 5, Louisiana Tech 4 (8)
Teresa Conrad hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift New Mexico State past Louisiana Tech in the first half of a twinbill Saturday. It was one of just four hits in the game for the Aggies. Celisha Walker earned the complete-game win, giving up four runs on 10 hits and striking out three.

New Mexico State 3, Louisiana Tech 2
The Aggies plated runs in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings to sweep the series with a 3-2 win over Tech in the nightcap. Conrad drove in the winning run and finished 2-for-3 on the game. Kelsey Schueler picked up the win, throwing four scoreless innings.

Fresno State 16, Utah State 12
The two teams combined for 28 hits and the Bulldogs came out on top, defeating the Aggies 16-12 in WAC softball action Saturday. Caitlin Stiglich was 4-for-6 with two RBI, while Nicole Angene went 3-for-5, including her first career grand slam and five RBI. The 16 runs were the most by the Dogs in 14 years when Fresno State shut out San Jose State 18-0 during the 1997 season. Mackenzie Oakes picked up the win in the circle, while Michelle Moses earned a save, her second of the season.

Boise State 7, Hawai‘i 4
Devon Bridges and Christina Capobianco both hit home runs and drove in two runs as the Broncos defeated Hawai‘i 7-4 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. Allie Crump earned the win, allowing two runs on five hits over 5.0 innings. Lela Work picked up the save, her first of the season.

Boise State 3, Hawai‘i 2
The Broncos came from behind to defeat the Rainbow Wahine 3-2 in the nightcap, handing Hawai‘i its first sweep at home since 2005. Crump was 2-for-4 and drove in a run to lead Boise State offensively. Aubray Zell earned the complete-game win, striking out eight.

Nevada 1, San Jose State 0
It was a pitchers' duel between Mallary Darby and Elyssa Fox and Darby won the battle as Nevada defeated San Jose State 1-0 in the first half of a doubleheader Saturday. Darby yielded just five hits – all singles – and walked two while striking out one to get the complete game shutout. Fox went the distance for San Jose State and she gave up six hits without a walk or a strikeout and took the loss. Caylin Campbell drove in the lone run for the Wolf Pack.

San Jose State 12, Nevada 4 (6)
The Spartans broke out for 12 runs on 15 hits in game two of the doubleheader to win 12-4 in six innings. BranDee Garcia was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI, while Breanna Lopez and Alex Stange each went 3-for-4. Janessa Gutierrez pitched six innings of relief. After allowing just one hit, a home run, Gutierrez allowed just two Nevada base runners the rest of the game.
