FRESNO, Calif.
– The University of Hawai'i baseball team defeated No. 13 Fresno State on Saturday, 6-2. The win was the second straight over the Bulldogs, as the Rainbows improve to 9-1 in the WAC and 24-17 overall. Fresno State drops to 8-5 in conference and 28-9 overall. Hawai'i broke a 2-2 tie with four runs in the ninth inning to pace to the win. Zach Swasey (1 H, 2 RBI) capped the big inning with an RBI-single, scoring Breland Almadova and Jesse Moore (1 R, 1 RBI). Six different Rainbows hit safely in the game, headlined by Kolten Wong's homerun in the sixth inning.

- Mark Threlkeld was 2-for-3 with three runs batted in to lead the Bulldogs to an 8-2 win in game one of the doubleheader and Corey White scored from second on wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth of the second game as Tech rallied to win, 6-5, to clinch the series Saturday afternoon at J.C. Love Field.

- After dropping the opener of a doubleheader 2-0 to Sacramento State on Saturday, the San Jose State Spartans built a 5-1 lead in game two and hung on for a 5-4 win. The two-game split leaves the Spartans 29-16 overall, 8-7 in Western Athletic Conference play. Sacramento State is 2-9 in league games and 15-30 overall.

New Mexico State 8, Seattle 3
BELLEVUE, Wash.
- The New Mexico State baseball team (30-14) takes the series from Seattle University after winning 8-3 in the finale at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, Wash., Saturday, April 30. The Aggies posted its eight runs on 14 hits and committed two errors compared to Seattle putting up three runs on five hits, while committing three errors. Leading the way offensively for NM State was junior Bryan Karraker who went 3-of-4 at the dish with two RBI and two runs scored. Junior third baseman Zach Voight tallied a 2-of-4 day with one RBI and one run.
