Fresno State 4, Hawai‘i 2


FRESNO, Calif. - The No. 13 Fresno State baseball team earned its ninth conference victory after beating Hawai'i, 4-2, on Sunday afternoon. Junior outfielder Brennan Gowens hit the game-winning home run in the seventh inning to give the Dogs the win. The Bulldogs are 29-9 on the season and are 9-5 in Western Athletic Conference play.

Nevada 10, Louisiana Tech 6


RUSTON, La
. - Senior Mark Joukoff tossed 6.2 innings of relief to pitch the University of Nevada (16-23, 5-6 WAC) baseball team to a 10-6 victory at Louisiana Tech (24-22, 7-9 WAC) Sunday afternoon at J.C. Love Field.  With the victory the Wolf Pack avoided the sweep after the Bulldogs won the first three games of the four-game Western Athletic Conference series.  With the win Nevada improved to 16-23 and 5-6 in WAC play while LA Tech fell to 24-22 and 7-9 in conference action.

San Jose State 3, Sacramento State 0 (11)



Sacramento, Calif. - San Jose State broke a 0-0 tie with a three-run 11th inning to defeat the Sacramento State Hornets 3-0 and take three of four in a Western Athletic Conference weekend series. The win improves the Spartans record to 30-16, 9-7 in WAC play.  Sacramento State falls to 2-10 in league and 15-31 overall.
