New Mexico State 11, Boise State 10 (8)
Ashley Maroda hit a walk-off solo home run with one out in bottom of eighth to give New Mexico State an 11-10 win over Boise State in WAC action Friday. Valerie Swedberg was 3-for-4 and drove in three runs, while Hoku Nohara and Maroda both tallied two RBI. Alex Newman earned the win, her 21st of the season.

Fresno State 7, Nevada 3
Andrea Ortega was 2-for-4 with three RBI as the Bulldogs defeated the Wolf Pack 7-3 in WAC action Friday. Brooke Ortiz was 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Michelle Moses earned the complete-game win in the circle, allowing two earned runs on five hits while striking out 10.

Hawai`i 8, San Jose State 0 (5)
The Rainbow Wahine overpowered the Spartans in an 8-0 five-inning win Friday at the SJSU Softball Complex. Stephanie Ricketts fired a two-hit, complete game shutout, striking out five.  Jasey Jensen ripped a three-run triple and Jessica Iwata drilled a three-run home run to lift UH to the win.

Louisiana Tech 7, Utah State 1
Kendra Harmon and Katelynn Hill each recorded three hits while Allie Geisler, Meghan Knowles and Molly Goza each registered two hits as LA Tech banged out a season-high 14 hits in a 7-1 win over Utah State. Meghan Krieg allowed one unearned run on six hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters to pick up the complete-game win.

Louisiana Tech 13, Utah State 6
In the second game of the day, Heather Doiron, Hill and Goza each recorded home runs as Tech scored a season-high 13 runs, including 11 in the final two innings, to record the doubleheader sweep. Krieg, who threw more than 250 pitches in the doubleheader, allowed six runs on 12 hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters in the win.
