RENO, Nev. – The University of Hawai'i baseball team completed a doubleheader sweep Saturday over Nevada. The Rainbows rallied to win game one, 8-7, then shutout the Wolf Pack in game two, 4-0. Hawai'i improves to 27-20 overall and 12-4 in the WAC, with Nevada dropping to 17-26 overall and 6-9 in conference. Zach Swasey batted 5-10 on the day with one homerun and four RBI.

RUSTON, La. - Mark Threlkeld hit a two-run home run to right center in what proved to be the game-winning runs as Tech knocked off 19th-ranked Fresno State, 8-6, in game one of the doubleheader but FS bounced back and took the second game of the afternoon, 7-4. The win by Tech in the early game marked the first time that the Bulldogs had knocked off a ranked opponent since dropping 11th-ranked Baylor on March 4, 2008.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State baseball team ( 32-15, 7-8 WAC) split a doubleheader with Sacramento State (16-33, 3-12 WAC) losing game one15-8 and coming back to win game two 11-9 at Presley Askew Field, Saturday, May 7. The Aggies posted 14 hits in game one but it wasn't enough as Sacramento State tallied 17 hits to win the game. NM State out-hit the Hornets in game two 18-14 but nine walks by the Sac. State pitching staff and 10 RBI by the Aggie hitters proved to be the difference of the game.
