LEXINGTON, Ky. – Hawai‘i is ranked No. 10 nationally in the preseason American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches Poll, as announced by the organization today.
The Rainbow Wahine, ranked No. 13 in the final 2010 poll, received 976 points. They return five starters from last year's squad including AVCA All-Americans Kanani Danielson and Brittany Hewitt, and all-WAC selection Chanteal Satele.
WAC teams play 10 matches aagainst teams ranked in the Top 25 and 11 against teams that are receiving votes in the poll.
