Hawai'i 3, Idaho 1
Hawai'i's Kanani Danielson finished with a season-high 24 kills to go with 10 digs as the Rainbow Wahine defeated Idaho in four sets, 25-21, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21 Thursday. Danielson now has 1,468 career kills and 1,002 career digs to become just the seventh player in program history to record 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

Hawai'i hit .257 on the match with 68 kills, compared to the .254 hitting percentage and 50 kills of Idaho. The Vandals out-blocked the Rainbow Wahine, 9-6.

Jane Croson added 19 kills and 13 digs, while Mita Uiato added a match-high 50 assists to go along with 12 digs for Hawai'i.

Alicia Milo led Idaho with 19 kills and 12 digs. The Vandals ended UH's regular-season WAC set winning streak at 50.


Utah State 3, San Jose State 0
Liz McArthur recorded her eighth double-double of the season and 20th of her career to lead Utah State to a sweep (25-18, 25-20, 25-12) of San Jose State Thursday in both team's WAC opener. With the win, Utah State improves to 6-8 on the season and 1-0 in league play and San Jose State falls to 5-8 overall and 0-1 in the WAC with the loss.

Utah State hit a season-high .290, while San Jose State hit .149. USU also had four more service aces (5-1) and one more team block (4.5-3.5) in the match, while SJSU recorded one more dig (41-40) to go along with two more service errors (4-2).

McArthur finished with 17 kills and 12 digs on the match. Alex Akana had nine kills to lead San Jose State.


Fresno State 3, Cal State Bakersfield 1
After dropping the first set, Fresno State rebounded to defeat Cal State Bakersfield 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 27-25) Thursday night.

Korrin Wild transitioned to the outside after starting the previous 11 matches at libero and delivered a season-high 13 kills. Brianna Clarke also landed 13 kills in the four-set victory while junior setter Barbara Alcantara tossed up a season-high 51 assists.
