Nevada 76, Idaho 70
Nevada picked up its first conference win on the road, defeating Idaho 76-70 Monday evening. With the win, the Wolf Pack improve to 5-13 on the season and 1-2 in the WAC. The Vandals drop to 5-15 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Nevada shot 45 percent from the field, 35 percent from three-point range and 61 percent from the free throw line on the game. Idaho connected on 39 percent from the floor, 16 percent from downtown and 72 percent from the line. The Wolf Pack also out-rebounded the Vandals 46-38.
Kate Kevorken led Nevada with 18 points, while Chanelle Brennan finished with 15 points. Emily Burns posted her first double-double with a career-high 11 points and 13 rebounds. Amanda Johnson scored a career-high 15 points, all in the second half.
Alyssa Charlston led the Vandals with 17 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.
