Colorado 70, Idaho 65
Idaho came up short of its first win of the season, falling at Colorado 70-65 on Sunday afternoon. The loss drops Idaho to 0-2 on the season after falling to Wyoming in the season-opener on Friday.

The Vandals shot 35 percent from the field for the game, hitting 22-of-63 shots including 8-of-26 (31 percent) from three-point range. Colorado shot 41 percent from the field and hit 5-of-14 treys. The Vandals committed 19 turnovers, leading to 19 points for Colorado, while turning 18 CU turnovers into 20 points. Idaho hit 13-of-16 free throws in the game.

Colorado dominated on the boards, out-rebounding Idaho 46-37 and 16-14 on the offensive end, aiding its 15-9 advantage in second-chance points. The Buffaloes also outscored Idaho 32-20 in the paint and 8-0 on the fast break.

Four Idaho players scored in double figures, led by 16 points from Alyssa Charlston on 5-of-8 shooting. Stacey Barr had 15 points and added a game-high nine rebounds. Connie Ballestero added 11 points and Krissy Karr scored 10.

Michigan State 83, UT Arlington 39
UT Arlington fell 83-39 on the road to Michigan State on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Mavericks fall to 0-2 on the season.

UTA shot 31 percent from the field, 18 percent from three-point range and 50 percent from the free throw line on the game, compared to the 51, 39 and 63 percent, respectively, of the Spartans. Michigan State won the rebounding battle, 42-29, and forced 25 Maverick turnovers.

Malaika Green led the Mavericks with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting, while Aron Garcia grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
