CSU Bakersfield (3-0)
Jeanette Dove, Michaela Paige, Ali Gillespie, NicoletteGoncalves and Jordan Reed each won two events asCSU Bakersfield defeated Fresno Pacific 171-100 ...Dove, Jodi Hanson, Goncalves, and Gillespie comprisedthe Roadrunner 400 medley relay that was won the race in a time of3:59.08 ... the Roadrunners won 10 of the first 12 swimming races inaddition to Reed's diving performances ... the Roadrunners improvedto 3-0 in dual competition with the victory over the Sunbirds ... CSUB will swim at the Arena Invitational which is hosted by UC San Diegoat Long Beach's Belmond Olympic Pool.

Denver (4-1)
The Pioneer women topped Western Athletic Conferencefoe Idaho 173-125 and also defeated Colorado Schoolof Mines 228-43 ... senior Alex Suppan led the way forthe Pioneer women, finishing first overall in both the200 Butterfly (2:04.27) and the 400 IM (4:27.57) ... junior JaclynBest (Boulder, Colo.) also tallied a pair of individual victories ... besttopped all competitors in the 1,000 Freestyle with a time of 10:38.12and the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:13.02 ... the Pioneers talliedfour 1-2-3 finishes on the women's side ... the Pioneers will return toaction Nov. 30 at the Iowa Invite.

Idaho (3-3)
In its final home meet of the fall season, University ofIdaho swimming and diving combined several outstandingindividual performances into one outstanding team resultwith a 177.5-122.5 win over Northern Arizona ... Idaho won13 of the 16 events ... Rachel Millet won three individual events andanchored the team's winning 400 medley relay ... she tallied a 1:52.31in the 200 free, a 23.77 in the 50 free, and then capped off her day bybarely missing a school record in the 200 individual medley at 2:04.17... junior diver Paige Hunt rewrote her own entry in the Vandal recordbooks in the 1-meter dive on Saturday with a winning score of 275.55that edged her own former record of 274.90 from 2011. 

New Mexico State (2-2)
The New Mexico State swimming and diving team returnsto competition at the UH Phill Hansel Invitational,Thursday, Nov. 15 to Saturday, Nov. 17 in Houston, Texas... the three-day meet has 11 women's teams includingAir Force, Arkansas, Fresno State, Houston, Idaho, NM State, LSU,SMU, Texas A&M, Tulane and Wyoming ... the Aggies are competingin the invitational for the second consecutive season. Last year, NMState finished in third place in the team standings with 493 points.

North Dakota (3-4)
The UND women dropped decisions to TCU (208-51)and host Kansas (214-45) as action wrapped-up from atwo-day double dual at Robinson Natitorium ... MadelineSmith had another solid weekend of swims as well shefinished the 100 fly with a time of 59.25 ... Rachael Waldbillig tookthird from the one-meter board with a score of 232.25 ... JenniferAnklan was seventh with a 215.40 showing ... UND will now preparefor the TYR Invite, a three-day event held at Northwestern Universityon Nov. 16-18.

Northern Arizona (3-2)
NAU fell to Washington State 146-116 on Friday in Pullman,Wash. ... the dual, which only contained swimmingas the Cougars don't have a diving team, was NAU's firstloss of the season after a 3-0 start in dual competition ...NAU was competing without the services of senior backstroker FiConnell, among others, and fell behind early as the Cougars won thefirst four events of the meet ... the Lumberjacks swam vs WAC rivalIdaho on Saturday, dropping the meet 177.5-122.5 ... senior KristyArdavanis, junior Emma Lowther, and sophomore Caitlin Wright butall recorded wins, but Idaho won 13 of 16 events ... the NAU diverswill compete at the Arizona Diving Invite in Tucson through Sunday. 

Northern Colorado (0-2)
Competing in its first-ever WAC dual, the Northern Coloradoswimming & diving team dropped a 178-119 decisionat Northern Arizona ... junior Gina Riggle continued herhot start to the season, winning both the 100 meter back(1:13.53) and the 200 meter breaststroke (2:40.93) ... junior CourtneyVan Oost also won two events in the 200 back (2:21.39) and the 200IM (2:27.72) ... senior Tatum Boehnke placed third in the 800 freeafter swimming a 9:40.80 ... the divers will head to the Wildcat DivingInvitational, hosted by Arizona, Nov. 16-18 ... the swimmers takea break from competition until Nov. 30 when they are at the Nebraska-Omaha Invitational.

San Jose State (2-1)
The San Jose State women's swimming and diving teamdefeated UC Santa Cruz (0-1) 174-31 on Saturday afternoonin The Aquatics Center ... three Spartans (2-1) wonmultiple races ... Michelle Berry, Elana Faria, and DarcieAnderson won two races each ... San Jose State won each of thenine individual races as well as both relay events ... San Jose Statewill compete again in two weeks when the swimmers travel to LongBeach, Calif., Thursday, November 15 through Saturday, November17 to compete in the Arena Invitational ... the divers head to the WildcatDiving Invitational on Fri., November 15 to Sun., November 18.

Seattle U (0-4)
The Seattle University women's swim team made a valiantcomeback attempt, but Simon Fraser University was ableto hold off the Redhawks, 111-92, Saturday afternoon atthe Connolly Center Pool ... Simon Fraser won six of thefirst seven events, with Karla Ruff breaking through with a victory in the200 individual medley with a time of 2:10.33 ... Kevlyn Richards leda 1-2 finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:20.63, followed byRuff in second place with a mark of 2:24.24 ... the Seattle Universitywomen's swim team will next compete at the Husky Invitational Nov.30 through Dec. 2 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Centerin Federal Way, Wash.

Athletes of the Week 

Idaho's Rachel Millet and Northern Arizona's Kristy Ardavanis have been named the Western Athletic Conference Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, for Nov. 5-11.

Millet, a sophomore from Spokane, Wash. (Ferris H.S.), won threeindividual events and was part of the Vandals' winning 400 medleyrelay team in Idaho's 177.5-122.5 win over Northern Arizona. Millettallied a 1:52.31 in the 200 freestyle, a 23.77 in the 50 freestyleand then capped off her day by barely missing a school record inthe 200 individual medley at 2:04.17. Her winning times in the 50freestyle and the 200 IM are season bests for the WAC.

Ardavanis, a senior from Gilbert, Ariz. (Mesquite H.S.), won on3-meter and placed second on 1-meter to lead NAU against Idaho.She took the 3-meter competition with a total score of 295.65 to winthe event by nearly 13 points. Ardavanis then finished second on1-meter at 272.55, just three points back of the winning total. Shehad the top 1-meter and 3-meter scores in the WAC this season andhas twice been named WAC Diver of the Week already this year.

Other swimmers nominated: Northern Arizona junior Jordan Burnes and Seattle U senior Karla Ruff.

Other divers nominated: Idaho junior Paige Hunt.
