Utah State swept past Texas State (25-16, 25-19, 25-21) Wednesday night. With the win, the Aggies improve to 20-8 overall and 15-3 in the WAC. Texas State drops to 14-15 overall and 9-9 in WAC play.
The Aggies are the No. 1 seed in next week's WAC Tournament and the Bobcats are the No. 7 seed.
Utah State out-hit Texas State .347 to .184. The Aggies also had more kills (43-41), assists (42-39), aces (4-1), digs (48-43) and blocks (10-5).
Rachel Orr and Josselyn White tallied 12 kills each to pace the Aggies, while Shay Sorensen added 10 kills. Paige Neves finished with 35 assists and 12 digs.
Ashlee Hilbun led Texas State with 10 kills.
