LAS CRUCES, N.M. (NMSU Media Relations)-The New Mexico State men's basketball beat Northern New Mexico, 67-37, in the conclusion of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project.
The Aggies (2-3) utilized a size advantage and scored 44 points in the paint. Junior forward Renaldo Dixon scored a season-high 12 points, and senior forward Bandja Sy was also in double-figures with 10 points. The Aggies had 12 players see action, and senior forward Tyrone Watson and sophomore forward Remi Barry both added seven points.

Seattle, Wash. - (SU Media Relations) The Seattle University men's basketball team overcame its struggles on the offensive end of the floor, using defense and rebounding to hold off Pacific Lutheran, 58-49, Wednesday night at KeyArena at Seattle Center.
Clarence Trent (Tacoma, Wash.) was the only Redhawk to reach double figures in scoring, finishing with 17 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Deshaun Sunderhaus (Conyers, Ga.) and Sterling Carter (Seattle, Wash.) finished with nine points and seven rebounds apiece, with Prince Obasi (Reseda, Calif.) contributing seven points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

DENVER - (DU Media Relations) University of Denver men's basketball senior guard Chase Hallam (Mesquite, Texas) scored 19 points and pulled down six rebounds, but the Pioneers were downed 60-53 by Colorado State at Magness Arena on Wednesday night.
Sophomore forward Royce O'Neale (Killeen, Texas) added 16 points and a game-high five assists, while junior forward Chris Udofia (Irving, Texas) and sophomore guard Cam Griffin (San Antonio, Texas) had seven rebounds apiece.

Brigham Young 81, UTSA 62
PROVO, Utah — (UTSA Media Relations) Senior Kannon Burrage scored 22 points, but Brandon Davies and Tyler Haws combined for 42 to lead BYU to an 81-62 victory against UTSA on Wednesday night in front of 16,475 fans at the Marriott Center.
Davies posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds to help BYU post a 48-21 edge on the boards, while Haws added 20 points behind an 8-for-16 night from the floor. The Cougars (3-2) posted their third home win of the season in the first-ever meeting with the Roadrunners (3-2).
