New Mexico State 75, UMKC 50
New Mexico State snapped a two-game losing streak with a 75-50 win over UMKC Friday evening at the Pan American Center. The Aggies move to 6-4 on the season with the win.
NM State shot 42 percent from the field, 47 percent from beyond the arc and 74 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Kangaroos out-rebounded the Aggies 39-37, but NM State picked up 29 points off UMKC turnovers.
Danesia Williamson tallied 21 points and a season-high seven assists. Stefanie Gilbreath added 15 points, while Sasha Weber finished with 12.
