Pacific 74, San Jose State 60
Four Spartans scored in double figures, but Pacific took 78 shots to San Jose State's 54 and defeated the Spartans 74-60 on Monday night in The Event Center. The loss is the Spartans' first on their home court this year and the team drops to 3-4 on the season.
San Jose State shot 37 percent from the field, 25 percent from three-point range and 62 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Spartans were out-rebounded 53-36 in the loss.
Ta'Rea Cunnigan led the team with 14 points. Chereese Thomas equaled her season-high with 13 points, and Emily Schill and Riana Byrd had 12 points each.
