San Jose State 73, UC Davis 64
Davis, Calif.-(SJSU Media Relations) James Kinney scored 27 points and had a key steal in the second half to help fuel San Jose State to a 73-64 win at UC Davis Wednesday night.
Kinney finished the game 10-for-20 from the field and 5-for-8 from the free throw line. He grabbed a game-high four steals, but his biggest steal came at 4:31 of the second half which led to a dunk and gave the Spartans a 64-59 lead and a spark on the bench.

Denver 69, Mercer 40
DENVER - (DU Media Relations) University of Denver men's basketball junior forwards Royce O'Neale (Killeen, Texas) scored a career-high 22 points and Chris Udofia (Irving, Texas) added 14, leading the Pioneers to a 69-40 victory over Mercer on Wednesday night at Magness Arena.
"Our guys executed our game plan," head coach Joe Scott said. "We have been playing bigger teams, and we bottled up their big men. Our offensive execution looked the way we wanted, and we put the ball in the basket."

Oral Roberts 86, Texas State 77
San Marcos, Texas – (Texas State Media Relations) Despite jumping out to an early lead to start the game, Texas State (3-5) men's basketball fell to Oral Roberts tonight, 86-77. Matt Staff led the Bobcats with 19 points and six rebounds. Joining Staff in double figures was Joel Wright with 17 points and Corey Stern 12 points.
Texas State's starters were in foul trouble early in the game. All three of the Bobcats' leading scorers had a pair of fouls at the half, although they managed to finish the game well.
The Bobcats were down by five at the half, but a layup by Wesley Davis at the 17:39 mark cut the Golden Eagles lead to two. Texas State kept Oral Roberts (5-4) within a six-point range for the first four minutes of the half, but the Golden Eagles offense was able to turn things up. Oral Roberts stretched its lead to 13 points (63-50) after Shawn Glover connected on a fast break jumper.
