DENVER – San Jose State’s Julia Craddock and Fresno State’s Hannah Prigge have been named the Verizon WAC Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, for the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

Craddock, a junior from Litchfield Park, Ariz. (Millenium HS), won four events last Saturday to help lead the Spartans to a 184-115 victory over WAC rival Fresno State. Craddock began her afternoon swimming a leg on the Spartans’ winning 200-meter medley relay team that swam 1:47.31. She later took the top spot in 100-meter and 200-meter butterfly (58.23 and 2:04.52), and the 200-meter individual medley (2:08.49). Craddock’s time of 2:04.52 in the 200 fly was a pool record at the Fresno State Aquatics Center. She totaled 38 points during the win, the Spartans’ seventh in a row on the season.

Prigge, a sophomore from Rocklin, Calif. (Whitney HS), won the 3-meter diving competition during the loss to San Jose State last Saturday. With a score of 310.65, she broke her own school record of 295.73, which she set earlier this season. Her score beat the second place finisher by more than 30 points. She added a second-place finish in the 1-meter diving competition.
