Community Service Organization: 5th Annual SJSU Day of Service
Approximately 85 San Jose State student-athletes are participated in the 5th Annual San Jose State Day of Service on November 4.
Student-athletes from women's cross country, football, women's golf, women's gymnastics and women's swimming and diving as well as Spartan Athletics staff went out to six different sites to do beautification, graffiti clean-up, park clean-up, school projects and various other community service.
The Day of Service brought together students, staff, and faculty to enhance the area surrounding SJSU through projects that were largely educational and enrichment based in schools, community centers, neighborhoods and museums. There were also neighborhood improvement and beautification projects.
