Oregon State 10, Nevada 7 (10)
RENO, Nev. - (Nevada Media Relations) The University of Nevada (16-16) baseball team scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie Oregon State (20-11) at seven but the Beavers hit a three-run homer in the top of the 10th to win 10-7 at Peccole Park Tuesday afternoon. The Wolf Pack stands at 16-16 after the loss while OSU improved to 20-11.
Nevada trailed 7-0 after four innings of play but scored the next seven to tie the game. The Pack scored two in the fifth and four times in the seventh inning to close the gap to 7-6.
In the bottom of the ninth inning Jamison Rowe tripled with one out and scored on Garrett Yrigoyen's triple that followed. The Pac k was unable to push across the winning run and the game was headed to the top of the 10th.
A pair of walks and a two-out three-run homer gave OSU a 10-7 advantage. Michael Conforto delivered the big blow, his second three-run homer of the game.

Louisiana Tech 9, Stephen F. Austin 5
RUSTON, La. – (LT Media Relations) Sixteen pitchers stepped on the mound on Tuesday evening as the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (17-16) defeated the Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin (13-19), 9-5, on Tuesday evening at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
Ben Carlisle (1-0) picked up his first win of the season after pitching a scoreless fifth inning, striking out one hitter. Reid Landers (0-1) was credited with his first loss of the season after allowing two hits and two runs, allowing the Bulldogs to take a 5-3 lead in the fifth inning.
Nine pitchers saw action for Tech as Chris Sadberry, James Ferguson, Mitch Antony, Dakota Doss, Carlisle, Sam Alvis and Chase Hesson pitched 1.0 inning apiece. Benn Fairbanks also entered the game and was relieved by Trevor Petersen, who pitched two scoreless innings in the victory. Alvis struck out all three batters the southpaw faced as his ERA is now 4.15 on the year.
