The Cougars rebounded in the nightcap, plating six runs in the bottom of the first inning en route to a 7-3 win. Jessica Dugas was 3-for-4 with one RBI, while Katie Manuma drove in two runs. Tori Almond earned the win, striking out seven.

Michelle Moses threw a one-hitter and struck out five as the Bulldogs shut out Utah State 8-0 in the first half of a twinbill Saturday. Stesha Brazil was 3-for-3, while Brenna Moss and Brooke Ortiz drove in two runs each.

Moses earned her second win of the day as the Bulldogs swept the series with a 5-2 win in the nightcap. Moss was 2-for-4 with one RBI to pace Fresno State offensively.

The Lady Techsters shut out the Aggies 4-0 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. Melanie Goff was 2-for-3 with three of Tech's four RBI. Michelle Jones earned the win in the circle, striking out three over 7.0 innings.
