Denver 4, UC Irvine 0

DENVER - (Denver Media Relations) The University of Denver women's soccer team secured a 4-0 victory over UC Irvine to win the DU Invitational on Sunday afternoon at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. "I thought in the second half we put a lot of combination passes together," head coach Jeff Hooker said. "I thought the runs off the ball and the service was really good today. I think we did a better job in the second half of finding the holes in between their backs and midfielders. The movement kind of picked up and allowed us to keep a little bit more possession which created more chances, and we were able to finish them."
