DENVER - (DU Media Relations) University of Denver women's soccer junior midfielder Nicholette DiGiacomo (Golden, Colo.) was one of 10 women's soccer players in the nation recognized by College Soccer 360 for her week-five performance.

DiGiacomo tallied an assist in the game-winner at Kansas and netted a 28-yard free kick to jump-start a late two-goal comeback at Texas. In an important two-game Big 12 weekend for the Pioneers, DiGiacomo gave head coach Jeff Hooker's squad 194 quality minutes in the center of the park. In the Kansas match, DiGiacomo back-heeled a Sam Harder (Centennial, Colo.) restart through her legs and on to senior forward Katy Van Lieshout (Boulder, Colo.), who netted the 18th-minute breakthrough. With the Pioneers 3-1 down in the 83rd minute against Texas, DiGiacomo curled her 83rd minute free kick from the top-left corner of the box into the inside post side netting.

Florida State's Tiana Brockway was named the CS360 Primetime Player of the Week.

On Monday, DiGiacomo was named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week, both by the conference office and by College Sports Madness.
