New Mexico State 3, Chicago State 0
The Aggies defeated Chicago State in straigt sets (25-18, 25-16, 25-12) Thursday night at the Dickens Center. With the win, New Mexico State improves to 10-8 overall and 5-0 in the WAC. The Cougars drop to 2-17 on the season and 0-5 in conference play.

The Aggies hit a season-high .486 on the match, compared to the .107 of Chicago State. NM State also had more kills (46-26) and assists (37-24), while the Cougars had more digs (24-6). Both teams had seven blocks on the match.

Gwen Murphy led all players with 11 kills on .600 hitting. Ciara Brown and Taylor Livoti had 17 assists apiece for the Aggies.

Rachel Levitt paced Chicago State with eight kills.

Kansas City 3, Texas-Pan American 0
Kansas City swept past Texas-Pan American (25-18, 25-11, 25-18) Thursday night at the Swinney Recreation Center. The win improves the Kangaroos to 10-7 overall and 4-1 in the WAC, their best conference start since starting 4-1 in 1997. The Broncs fall to 10-11 overall and 0-5 in WAC play with the loss.

Kansas City out-hit UTPA .280 to .095. The 'Roos also had more digs (47-41) and blocks (10-0), while Broncs had more kills (35-33). UTPA had 11 service errors in the defeat.

Sydney Crimmins and Skyler Muff paced Kansas City with eight kills each, while Emma Hagedorn had six blocks and Taryn Miller had nine digs.

UTPA was led by Alisha Watson with a match-high 10 kills to go along with 10 digs for her first double-double of the season.

Bakersfield 3, Utah Valley 0
Bakersfield defeated Utah Valley in straight sets (25-21, 25-18, 25-17) Thursday night at the Icardo Center. With the win, the Roadrunners improve to 10-9 overall and 3-3 in the WAC. The Wolverines drop to 10-10 on the season and 4-2 in WAC play.

Bakersfield out-hit Utah Valley .311 to .159 and out-blocked the Wolverines 8-4. The Roadrunners also had more kills (43-36), assists (41-35), service aces (3-1) and digs (53-46).

Kelsee Sawyer led Bakersfield with 11 kills, while Shayna Guitare and Debora Araujo added 10 apiece. Fernanda Goncalves posted a double-double of 36 assists and 14 digs.

Kalani Norris paced Utah Valley with 11 kills, while McKenna Tait had 13 digs.
