Seattle U 3, Idaho 1
The Redhawks held on to defeat Idaho in four sets (25-12, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20) at the Connolly Center Friday. With the win, Seattle U improves to 7-14 overall and 4-2 in WAC play. The Vandals drop to 10-8 on the season and 3-3 in the WAC with the loss.
The Redhawks out-hit Idaho .309 to .209. Seattle U also had more kills (63-41), assists (56-40) and digs (63-45) in the victory.
Iris Ivanis led Seattle U with 21 kills, while Martina Samadan had 12 and Allison Farley added 10. Kerry Lane dished out 43 assists, while Lani Beadle had 23 digs.
Idaho was led by Katelyn Peterson and Ali Forde with 12 kills each. Meredith Coba posted a double-double of 35 assists and 10 digs.
