Seattle U 3, Grand Canyon 1
After dropping the first set, the Redhawks rebounded to defeat the Antelopes in four sets (31-33, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21) in WAC action at the Connolly Center Monday night. With the win, Seattle U improves to 8-14 overall and 5-2 in the WAC. Grand Canyon drops to 7-11 on the season and 1-5 in WAC play with the loss.

The Redhawks out-hit the Antelopes .292 to .155. Seattle U also had more kills (68-52), assists (67-48), digs (70-60) and blocks (10-7), but committed 13 service errors. Grand Canyon had seven aces to Seattle U's two.

Martina Samadan and Iris Ivanis led all players with 19 kills each. Ivanis added 11 digs for her fourth double-double of the season. Sarah Jaeckel posted a double-double of 13 kills and 14 digs, while Kerry Lane also doubled up with 60 assists and 11 digs. Lani Beadle had a team-high 15 digs.

Grand Canyon was led by Megan Davis with a double-double of 16 kills and 14 digs, while Kristen Johannsen and Shannon Dugan added 10 kills apiece. Mackenzie Phelps led the Antelopes with 15 digs.
