Utah Valley 3, New Mexico State 0
The Wolverines moved into a tie at the top of the WAC standings with a sweep (25-16, 25-23, 25-18) of New Mexico State at the PE Building Saturday. With the win, Utah Valley improves to 13-11 overall and 7-2 in the WAC. The Aggies fall to 11-10 on the season and 6-2 in WAC play.

The Wolverines hit .301 on the match, compared to the .130 of NM State. Utah Valley also had more kills (44-34), assists (37-31), service aces (6-3) and blocks (11-7). The Aggies had 42 digs, while the Wolverines had 32.

Cassie Wahlin led Utah Valley with 13 kills. Brookelyn Hall had 33 assists and nine digs, while Lauren Stringham finished with nine kills and eight blocks.

Lauren Loerch posted a double-double of 10 kills and 10 digs to lead the Aggies.

Seattle U 3, Kansas City 0
The Redhawks moved into a tie for first place in the WAC standings with a sweep of Kansas City (25-14, 29-27, 27-25) at the Connolly Center Saturday. Seattle U improves to 10-14 on the season and 7-2 in the WAC with the victory. The Kangaroos drop to 10-10 overall and 4-4 in WAC play with the loss.

The Redhawks out-hit Kansas City .279 to .083. Seattle U also had more kills (49-34), assists (47-33), service aces (4-3), digs (43-38) and blocks (11-10).

Sarah Jaeckel had a match-high 14 kills, while Martina Samadan added 12 and Iris Ivanis had 10 kills and 10 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.

Jessica Hendin led the 'Roos with 10 kills, while Taryn Miller had 14 digs.

Bakersfield 3, Texas-Pan American 0
The Roadrunners swept Texas-Pan American (25-20, 25-19, 25-21) at the Icardo Center Saturday. Bakersfield moves to 13-9 on the season and 5-3 in WAC play with the victory. The Broncs drop to 11-13 overall and 1-7 in the WAC with the loss.

The Roadrunners hit .312 on the match, compared to the .138 of UTPA. Bakersfield also had more kills (46-34), assists (46-31), digs (50-43) and blocks (5-3), while the Broncs had more service aces (6-2).

Debora Araujo led the Roadrunners with 13 kills, while Kelsee Sawyer added 12. Fernanda Goncalves dished out 42 assists, while Mariah Alvidrez had 16 kills.

Krysta Freitas paced UTPA with 13 kills, while Shanice Faison had a match-high 18 digs.

Idaho 3, Chicago State 0
The Vandals swept past Chicago State (25-12, 25-21, 25-19) in WAC action Saturday at Memorial Gym. Idaho improves to 12-8 overall and 5-3 in the WAC with the win. The Cougars drop to 2-20 on the season and remain winless in WAC play at 0-8.

The Vandals out-hit Chicago State .309 to .124. Idaho also had more kills (42-32), assists (39-31), service aces (7-1), digs (45-40) and blocks (7-5).

Ashley Christman paced the Vandals with 10 kills on .562 hitting. Meredith Coba was just shy of a double-double, finishing with 33 assists and nine digs. Jenna Ellis led the team with 15 digs.

Paula Sioto led the Cougars with 11 kills and eight digs.
