New Mexico State 3, Texas-Pan American 0
The Aggies remained in first place in the WAC standings with a sweep of Texas-Pan American (25-13, 25-13, 25-15) at the Pan American Center Saturday afternoon. With the victory, New Mexico State improves to 13-10 overall and 8-2 in the WAC. The Broncs fall to 11-15 on the season and 1-9 in WAC play with the loss.

The Aggies hit .380 on the match, compared to the -.012 of UTPA. NM State also had more kills (34-25), assists (31-25), service aces (6-2), digs (29-26) and blocks (6-1).

Gwen Murphy led the Aggies with nine kills on .727 hitting, while Desiree Scott added eight kills on .545 hitting. Taylor Livoti dished out 16 assists, while Ciara Brown had 13.

Haley Durham paced UTPA with nine kills, while Nycole Masaki finished with 22 assists.

Utah Valley 3, Seattle U 0
The Wolverines defeated the Redhawks in straight sets (25-19, 25-23, 25-9) in WAC action Saturday night. With the win, Utah Valley improves to 14-12 overall and 8-3 in WAC play. Seattle U falls to 10-16 on the season and 7-4 in the WAC with the loss.

The Wolverines hit .293 on the match, compared to the .058 of the Redhawks. Utah Valley also had more kills (39-29), assists (38-28), service aces (6-5), digs (44-36) and blocks (14-7).

Nakisha Willden led UVU with 12 kills, while Cassie Wahlin added 10. Brookelyn Hall finished with 31 assists, eight digs and seven blocks. Lauren Stringham had a match0high eight blocks, while McKenna Tait had 12 digs.

Martina Samadan finished with 12 kills and five blocks, while Kerry Lane posted a double-double of 23 assists and 12 digs.

Bakersfield 3, Idaho 1
After dropping the first set, the Roadrunners won the next three to defeat Idaho in four sets (23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-23) for its sixth straight win to move into third place in the WAC standings. With the win, Bakersfield improves to 15-9 on the season and 7-3 in the WAC. The Vandals fall to 13-9 overall and 6-4 in WAC play.

The Roadrunners hit .201 on the match, compared to the .142 of Idaho. Bakersfield also had more kills (61-37), assists (58-32), service aces (11-1) and digs (69-60). Idaho out-blocked CSUB 17-6.

Debora Araujo led all players with 22 kills to go with 11 digs for her ninth double-double of the season. Fernanda Goncalves also posted a double-double of 50 assists and 13 digs, while Mariah Alvidrez had a match-high 18 digs. Kelsee Sawyer added 13 kills, while Molly O'Hagan had 12.

Idaho was led by Alyssa Schultz with 12 kills and siz blocks, while Katelyn posted a double-double of 10 kills and 14 digs. Taylor Wilkinson had a match-high nine blocks, while Meredith Coba had 30 assists.


Kansas City 3, Grand Canyon 0
The Kangaroos swept past Grand Canyon (25-17, 25-18, 25-22) in WAC action Saturday. Kansas City improves to 12-10 on the season and 6-4 in the WAC with the win. The Antelopes drop to 8-14 on the season and 2-7 in WAC play with the loss.

The 'Roos out-hit Grand Canyon .181 to .054 on the match. Kansas City also had more kills (39-30), assists (37-29) and blocks (9-4.5). Both teams had three service aces and 52 digs.

Sydney Crimmins led all players with 13 kills to go along with 12 digs for her sixth double-double of the year. Kaylyn Brandt also posted a double-double of 12 assists and 11 digs.

Hayleigh Firemoth led GCU with nine kills and 10 digs. Mackenzie Phelps had a match-high 16 digs.
