Utah Valley 3, Southern Utah 0
The Wolverines swept past Southern Utah (25-16, 25-14, 25-17) in non-conference action at the PE Building Monday. With the win, Utah Valley improves to 15-12 on the season.

The Wolverines hit a season-high .543 on the match, compared to the .274 of the Thunderbirds. Utah Valley also had more kills (44-30), assists (40-28), service aces (6-3), digs (30-18) and blocks (6.5-2).

Kalani Norris had a match-high 13 kills on .722 hitting, while McKenna Tait had a match-high nine digs. Brookelyn Hall finished with 33 assists, five kills on five attempts with no errors for a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage, four blocks and four digs.

Valparaiso 3, at Chicago State 0
The Cougars fell in straight sets to Valparaiso (22-25, 23-25, 18-25) in a non-conference match at the Dickens Center Monday. With the loss, Chicago State falls to 2-22 on the season.

The Cougars were out-hit .229 to .170 and out-blocked 10-5. Chicago State had more assists (35-33) and digs (47-45) in the loss.

Paula Sioto led all players with 12 kills, while Julia Menhart had a match-high 13 digs. Mackenzie Lotter had 32 assists, while Valeria Desiderio fell just short of a double-double with nine kills and 10 digs.
