Utah Valley 3, Kansas City 2
The Wolverines rallied to defeat the Kangaroos in five sets (20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 15-7) in WAC action at the PE Building Thursday. With the win, Utah Valley improves to 9-9 overall and 3-1 in WAC play. Kansas City drops to 8-7 on the season and 2-1 in the WAC.

Utah Valley hit .205 on the match, compared to the .194 of the 'Roos. The Wolverines also had more kills (63-59), assists (61-57), service aces (4-1) and digs (84-61). Kansas City won the blocking battle, 18-9.5.

Kalani Norris led all players with 22 kills and added 18 digs for her second double-double of the year. Cassie Wahlin finished with 12 kills, 16 digs and six blocks, while Nakisha Willden posted a double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs. Brookelyn Hall dished out 51 assists, while McKenna Tait tallied a match-high 26 digs.

Jessica Hendin led the 'Roos with 15 kills, while Sydney Crimmins added 14 kills and eight blocks. Melissa Hartsel posted 10 blocks, while Taryn Miller had 19 digs.

Idaho 3, Texas Pan-American 0
The Vandals swept Texas-Pan American (25-20, 25-23, 25-23) in WAC action at the UTPA Fieldhouse Thursday. With the win, Idaho improves to 10-6 overall and 3-1 in the WAC. The Broncs drop to 10-9 on the year and remain winless in WAC play at 0-3.

Idaho out-hit UTPA .231 to .217, but the Broncs had more kills (47-37), assists (41-36) and digs (64-55). The Vandals had five service aces and out-blocked UTPA 8-1.

Jessica Hastriter had 10 kills, while Katelyn Peterson added nine kills to lead Idaho, while Meredith Coba dished out 32 assists and Jenna Ellis had a match-high 21 digs.

Haley Durham had a match-high 15 kills, while Kasey Sanchez posted a double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs. Nycole Masaski also doubled up with 35 assists and 10 digs.

Bakersfield 3, Chicago State 1
In its first home match of the season, the Roadrunners defeated Chicago State in four sets (25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 25-20) at the Icardo Center Thursday. With the win, Bakersfield improves to 9-8 overall and 2-2 in the WAC. The Cougars fall to 2-15 on the season and 0-3 in WAC play.

The Roadrunners out-hit Chicago State .203 to .180 on the match. Bakersfield also had more kills (55-46), assists (52-43), digs (59-55), blocks (9.5-7) and service aces (8-1).

Kelsee Sawyer finished with 17 kills and 10 digs, while Debora Araujo also posted a double-double of 16 kills and 10 digs. Fernanda Goncalves also doubled up with 47 assists and 11 digs.

Chicago State was led by Rachel Levitt and Paula Sioto with 12 kills apiece. Valeria Desiderio posted a double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs.
