New Mexico State 3, Idaho 0
The Aggies swept the Vandals (25-15, 25-18, 25-19) Saturday afternoon at the Pan American Center to remain the only unbeaten team in WAC play. With the win, New Mexico State evens its record at 8-8 on the season and moves to 3-0 in the WAC. Idaho drops to 10-7 overall and 3-2 in the WAC.

NM State out-hit the Vandals .298 to .067 and out-blocked Idaho 11-6. The Aggies also had more kills (49-27), assists (43-24) and digs (63-51).

Desiree Scott led NM State with a season-high 16 kills on a season-high .727 hitting percentage while also posting seven blocks. Lauren Loerch added 12 kills and seven digs while Gwen Murphy added 10 kills.

Ashley Christman led Idaho with eight kills, while Meredith Coba posted a double-double of 15 sasists and 10 digs.

Kansas City 3, Bakersfield 2
In a highly-contested match, the Kangaroos defeated the Roadrunners in five sets (25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 17-25, 18-16) in WAC action at the Icardo Center Saturday. With the win, Kansas City improves to 9-7 overall and 3-1 in WAC play. Bakersfield drops to 9-9 on the season and 2-3 in the WAC.

The Roadrunners out-hit the Kangaroos .216 to .167, but were out-blocked 16.5 to 12 in the loss. Bakersfield also had more kills (73-60), assists (69-54) and digs (114-100), but had eight service errors in the loss.

Chloe Jarema led Kansas City with 19 kills, while Jessica Hendin posted double-double of 13 kills and 15 digs. Taryn Miller had a match-high 35 digs.

Kelsee Sawyer had a double-double of 25 kills and 11 digs, while Debora Araujo finished with 17 kills and 26 digs. Fernanda Goncalves also doubled up with 64 assists and 14 digs, while Mariah Alvidrez finished with 34 digs.

Utah Valley 3, Chicago State 0
The Wolverines swept past the Cougars (25-13, 25-14, 26-24) Saturday afternoon at the PE Building. With the victory, Utah Valley improves to 10-9 on the season and 4-1 in the WAC. Chicago State falls to 2-16 overall and 0-4 in the WAC.

The Wolverines out-hit the Cougars .232 to -.032 on the match and out-blocked Chicago State 7-5. Utah Valley also had more kills (37-25) and assists (30-24), while the Cougars had more digs (36-34).

Kalani Norris paced UVU with 13 kills, while Brookelyn Hall dished out 21 assists.

Chicago State was led by Paula Sioto with nine kills. Mackenzie Lotter finished with 22 assists.
