This is her first-ever WAC Player of the Week honor.The Tucson, Ariz., native led the Aggies to a 3-0 record last week to remain the only unbeaten team in WAC play, averaging 3.20 kills on a WAC-best .538 hitting to go along with 1.60 blocks and 0.50 digs per set. Scott opened the week with eight kills on 13 attempts with no errors for a .615 hitting percentage and added four blocks, three digs and a service ace in a sweep of Bakersfield. She then scored 22 points in a sweep of Idaho, posting season highs in kills (16) and hitting percentage (.727) to go along with seven blocks. Scott wrapped up the week with eight kills, five blocks and two digs in a four-set win over Seattle U. In WAC matches, she now leads the league in hitting percentage (.479), blocks (1.79) and points (4.25) per set.Other nominees included: Bakersfield’s Kelsee Sawyer averaged 4.42 kills and 4.67 points per set as the Roadrunners went 1-2 on the week ...
