The Antelopes dropped a non-conference match in straight sets (15-25, 19-25, 20-25) at Boise State Monday. With the loss, Grand Canyon falls to 7-9 on the season.
Boise State out-hit the Antelopes .277 to .175 and out-blocked Grand Canyon 7-5. The Broncos also had more kills (40-36), assists (38-33) and service aces (13-3), but the Antelopes had more digs (45-39) in the loss.
Britta Forsythe led Grand Canyon with a match-high 10 kills, while Lanie Muys added nine. Bree Davis had 16 assists, while Jessica Posse dished out 14. Mackenzie Phelps posted a team-high 13 digs.
