The Vandals scored four points in the final 36 seconds of the game to defeat Loyola 62-60 in the Preseason WNIT consolations Saturday at Gentile Arena. With the win, Idaho improves to 2-1 on the year. The Ramblers fall to 1-2 with the loss.

Loyola connected on 35 percent from the floor, 29 percent from downtown and 69 percent from the charity stripe on the game. Idaho edged the Ramblers on the boards, 47-46.
Stacey Barr led all players with 21 points, while Connie Ballestero added 11. Alyssa Charlston posted a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.
SIU Edwardsville 79, Kansas City 76
For the third straight game, the Kangaroos fell in the final minutes, dropping a 79-76 decision Saturday evening to SIU Edwardsville at the Vadalabene Center. With the loss, Kansas City falls to 0-3 on the season. The Cougars improve to 1-2 with the win.

Eilise O’Connor led Kansas City with a game-high 23 points and four rebounds, while Calli White finished with 16 points and eight assists. Kim Nezianya and Jordan Evans grabbed eight rebounds each to lead the 'Roos.
Longwood 59, Utah Valley 57
The Wolverines dropped a heartbreaker to Longwood, 59-57, at Willett Hall Saturday afternoon. With the loss, Utah Valley falls to 1-3 on the season. The Lancers improve to 2-1 with the win.

Cold shooting doomed the Cougars in a 55-39 loss to Miami (Ohio) at Millett Hall Saturday. Chicago State drops to 1-2 on the season with the loss. Miami picked up its first win of the season to move to 1-2 on the year.
The Cougars shot 21 percent from the field, 19 percent from three-point range and 65 percent from the free throw line on the game. Miami connected on 36 percent from the floor, 20 percent from downtown and 79 percent from the line. The RedHawks dominated the boards, 54-26, but committed 27 turnovers.
Paris Williams led Chicago State with 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Tierra Williams added eight points.
