Bakersfield 84, Concordia-Irvine 79
The Roadrunners held off Concordia-Irvine for an 84-79 win Tuesday night in the Icardo Center. With the victory, Bakersfield improves to 1-2 on the season. Concordia drops to 1-4 with the loss.

Bakersfield shot 39 percent from the field, 22 percent from three-point range and 70 percent from the free throw line on the game. Concordia connected on 41 percent from the floor, 26 percent from downtown and 70 percent from the charity stripe. The Roadrunners won the rebounding battle, 53-46.

Tyonna Outland scored a game-high 24 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. Batabe Zempare posted a double-double of 16 points and a Bakersfield Division I record 19 rebounds.

Toledo 96, Kansas City 81
The Kangaroos fell 96-81 to Toledo Wednesday night at the Swinney Recreation Center. With the loss, Kansas City drops to 0-4 on the year. Toledo improves to 2-2.

The 'Roos shot 41 percent from the field, 34 percent from three-point range and 61 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Zips connected on 51 percent from the floor, 39 percent from beyond the arc and 85 percent from the line. Toledo edged Kansas City on the boards, 38-36, but forced 20 Kangaroo turnovers.

Calli White had a career-high 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting from three-point range. Eilise O'Connor scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists, while Taylor Leathers finished with a season-high 12 points.
