After dropping the first set, the Antelopes defeated Abilene Christian in four sets (18-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-19) in non-conference action Friday at Antelope Gymnasium. With the win, Grand Canyon improves to 11-19 on the season.
The Antelopes out-hit the Wildcats .232 to .110 on the match. Grand Canyon also had more kills (63-41), assists (62-38), digs (93-75) and blocks (9-3).
Shannon Dugan posted her sixth double-double of the season with a match-high 21 kills to go along with 12 digs. Lanie Muys added 18 kills, while Jessica Posse had a match-high 35 assists to go along with 15 digs. Mackenzie Phelps had a match-best 35 digs.
