Sacramento State 87, Utah Valley 84
In a game that saw 12 ties and 15 lead changes, Utah Valley found itself on the wrong side of an 87-84 score in an up-tempo contest against Sacramento State Wednesday afternoon at the UCCU Center. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Wolverines.
Utah Valley shot 49 percent from the field, 30 percent from three-point range and 66 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Hornets connected on 37 percent from the floor, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 67 percent from the charity stripe on the game. Sacramento State out-rebounded the Wolverines 51-40.
Rhaiah Spooner-Knight posted a season-best 23 points and came up just shy of a double-double after hauling in nine rebounds. Katie Kuklok added 20 points and nine boards, while Georgia Agnew dished out six assists.
