Seattle University men’s soccer (7-8-4, 6-0-3 WAC) scored early and, despite finding themselves down at halftime, came from behind for a 4-3 win at Kansas City (4-9-4, 3-5-1 WAC) to remain undefeated in Western Athletic Conference play.

“It was a great win for our program,” said head coach Pete Fewing. “It was a very important win to come back and get three second half goals and our guys stayed on task and didn’t give up. It’s good to get a win and good to stay undefeated in the league. I’m proud of the guys and happy for them, they worked hard.”

Junior Gus Jensen and sophomore Connor Dunbaker each scored the first goal of his career Sunday to lead the Air Force men’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Cal State Bakersfield. Freshman goalie Jake Schenk made five saves for his first career victory as the Falcons extended their unbeaten streak to five on senior day at Cadet Soccer Stadium.

Air Force’s four seniors, Mitch Kim, Michael Thrasher, Brian Klazura and Caleb Downey, were honored in pre-game ceremony, but it was a couple of underclassmen coming up big. Dunbaker opened the scoring in the 24th minute, taking a pass from freshman Blake Elder and placing a shot from 10 yards out past Bakersfield keeper Anthony Perez. Air Force (2-9-5, 2-1-5 WAC) took a 1-0 lead into halftime after outshooting the Roadrunners 9-6 in the first 45 minutes.

HOENIX, Ariz. - Thanks to three goals from three different players, UNLV increased its unbeaten streak to five games thanks to a 3-1 victory at Grand Canyon on Sunday afternoon in WAC men's soccer action at the GCU Soccer Field. With its longest unbeaten streak since the 1995 season, the Rebels improved to 7-9-1 on the year, 5-3-1 in league play, which places them in a tie for second place with Bakersfield. GCU dropped to 2-12-1, and 1-7 in the conference.

"Our guys rebounded well from their tie on Friday night with a solid performance today against Grand Canyon," said UNLV head coach Rich Ryerson. "Not only did we have three different players score, but two of them scored their first career goals, so it was good to have that kind of balance on offense. It was also an important win because it was our first on the road this year."
