Idaho 88, Nevada 77
The Vandals defeated Nevada 88-77 in their first game of the Nugget Classic at Lawlor Events Center on Friday night. With the victory, Idaho improves to 4-2 on the season. The Wolf Pack fall to 3-3 with the loss.

The Vandals shot 42 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range and 74 percent from the free throw line. Nevada connected on 52 percent from the floor, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 64 percent from the line. Idaho out-rebounded the Wolf Pack 44-30.

Alyssa Charlston led all players with 28 points to go along with 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Stacey Barr added 23 points, while Christina Salvatore finished with 14. Ali Forde posted her first double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 boards, while Connie Ballestero dished out 26 assists.

New Mexico State 77, Northern Illinois 73
The Aggies overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Northern Illinois 77-73 in their first game of the Hotel Encanto Thanksgiving Classic Friday. With the win, New Mexico State evens its record at 3-3. The Huskies fall to 2-3 on the season with the loss.

The Aggies shot 46 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 61 percent from the free throw line on the game. Northern Illinois connected on 42 percent from the floor, 27 percent from downtown and 60 percent from the charity stripe. NM State edged the Huskies on the boards, 42-41.

Sasha Weber led all players with 18 points, while September Offutt added 14 and Moriah Mack had 10.

Seattle U 84, Coastal Carolina 53
The Redhawks more than doubled the second half output of Coastal Carolina in an 84-53 win over the Chanticleers to open the Delta Dental Thanksgiving Tournament Friday at the Connolly Center. Seattle U improves to 2-4 on the season with the win, while Coastal Carolina falls to 4-2.

The Redhawks shot 52 percent from the field, 43 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Chanticleers connected on 33 percent from the floor, 29 percent from downtown and 69 percent from the charity stripe. Seattle U out-rebounded Coastal Carolina 41-36 and forced 26 turnovers by the Chanticleers.

Taelor Ross led Seattle U with 18 points, while Sylvia Shephard added 16 points, eight assists and four steals. Ashley Ward finished with 12 points.

Texas-Pan American 50, Norfolk State 37
The Broncs defeated Norfolk State 50-36 Friday at the Convocation Center to kick off the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic. With the win, Texas-Pan American improves to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans fall to 2-3 on the year.

The Broncs shot 27 percent from the field, 26 percent from three-point range and 54 percent from the free throw line on the game. Norfolk State connected on 24 percent from the floor, 20 percent from downtown and 27 percent from the charity stripe. The Spartans won the rebounding battle, 53-47, but committed 21 turnovers in the game.

Shawnte' Goff led all players with 14 points, while Brittany Bush finished with nine rebounds, eight points and seven blocks.

Mississippi State 71, Grand Canyon 62
The Antelopes suffered their first loss of the season, falling 71-62 to Mississippi State in the first game of the Gulf Coast Showcase Friday. With the defeat, Grand Canyon drops to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs improve to 6-0 with the win.

The Antelopes shot 38 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range and 78 percent from the free throw line. Mississippi State shot 51 percent from the floor, 33 percent from the charity stripe and 79 percent from the line. GCU held a significant advantage in rebounds, 40-27, but the Bulldogs forced 21 Antelope turnovers, resulting in 28 points for Mississippi State.

Judy Jones led Grand Canyon with 18 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the year. Kaitlyn Petersen added 14 points, while Deanna Daniels had 13.

Sam Houston State 78, Kansas City 76
The Kangaroos rallied from 17 points down to tie the game, but fell 78-76 to Sam Houston State in the first game of the Plaza Lights Classic Friday at the Swinney Recreation Center. Kansas City falls to 0-6 on the season with the defeat, its third loss of three points or less this season.

The 'Roos shot 41 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point range and a perfect 100 percent from the free throw line. The Bearkats connected on 41 percent from the floor, 25 percent from beyond the arc and 83 percent from the free throw line on the game. Sam Houston State edged Kansas City on the boards, 41-39.

Eilise O'Connor led all players with 21 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists. Kim Nezianya added 19 points, while Grace Mitchell had 12 and Taylor Leathers finished with 11.
