Bakersfield 69, Omaha 65
The Roadrunners overcame a four-point halftime deficit to defeat Omaha 69-65 at the Icardo Center Saturday. With the win, Bakersfield improves to 2-3 on the season. The Mavericks drop to 3-3 on the year with the loss.

The Roadrunners shot 39 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line on the game. Omaha connected on 46 percent from the floor, 33 percent from downtown and 63 percent from the charity stripe. Bakersfield out-rebounded the Mavs 42-34.

Tyonna Outland led all players with 25 points to go along with eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Dajy Vines added 16 points, while Batabe Zempare was just shy of a double-double, finishing with a game-high 11 rebounds and nine points.

Kansas City 69, Eastern Illinois 62
The Kangaroos picked up their first win of the season, defeating Eastern Illinois 69-62 in the Plaza Lights Classic at Swinney Recreation Center Saturday. Kansas City improves to 1-6 on the year with the victory, while the Panthers drop to 2-5 with the loss.

The 'Roos shot 41 percent from the field, 26 percent from three-point range and 91 percent from the free throw line on the game. Eastern Illinois connected on 39 percent from the floor, 27 percent from beyond the arc and 50 percent from the line. The Panthers won the rebounding battle 43-29, but committed 17 turnovers in the loss.

Eilise O'Connor led Kansas City with 22 points and five assists, while Kim Nezianya recorded her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds, leading to a spot on the all-tournament team for each player.

Seattle U 52, Cornell 49
The Redhawks won the Delta Dental Thanksgiving Tournament with a 52-49 win over Cornell in the championship game Saturday. With the win, Seattle U improves to 3-4 on the season, while Cornell falls to 4-3.

The Redhawks shot 51 percent from the field, 27 percent from three-point range and 50 percent from the free throw line on the game. Cornell connected on 26 percent from the floor, 13 percent from downtown and 74 percent from the charity stripe on the game. Seattle U dominated the boards, 42-23, but committed 33 turnovers in the win.

Tournament MVP Taelor Ross paced the Redhawks with 13 points, while Ashley Ward added 11. Kacie Sowell grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. Alexis Montgomery and Sylvia Shephard were also named to the all-tournament team.

Texas-Pan American 70, Northern Iowa 47
The Broncs closed out the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic with a 70-47 late night win over Northern Iowa Saturday at the Convocation Center. With the win, Texas-Pan American improves to 4-2 on the season. The Panthers fall to 2-5 with the loss.

The Broncs shot 44 percent from the field, 20 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line on the game. UNI connected on 27 percent from the floor, 17 percent from beyond the arc and 91 percent from the line. UTPA out-rebounded the Panthers 45-37.

Brittany Bush recorded a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds to go along with three blocks, while KaeLynn Boyd scored a season-high 17 points to go along with five assists and five rebounds. Shawnte' Goff added 14 points with five rebounds and two steals, while Tonisha Walker scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds.

No. 20 California 59, Idaho 55
The Vandals held No. 20 Cal to its second-lowest scoring total of the season, but could not overcome the Golden Bears' 58 rebounds, falling 59-55 in the Nugget Classic championship game Saturday night at Lawlor Events Center. With the loss, Idaho falls to 4-3 on the season. Cal improves to 5-2 on the year with the win.

The Vandals shot 32 percent from the field, 20 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Bears connected on 28 percent from the floor, 10 percent from downtown and 72 percent from the line. Cal dominated the boards, 58-37.

Stacey Barr paced Idaho with 14 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Connie Ballestero added 11 points.


UCLA 62, Grand Canyon 60
The Antelopes suffered a heartbreaking 62-60 loss to UCLA in a consolation round game of the Gulf Coast Showcase at Germain Arena Saturday as Bruin guard Nirra Fields scored with 2.4 seconds remaining to decide the game. Grand Canyon falls to 5-2 on the season with the loss, while UCLA improves to 3-3 with the win.

The Antelopes shot 39 percent from the field, 19 percent from three-point range and 70 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Bruins connected on 44 percent from the floor, 36 percent from downtown and 63 percent from the charity stripe. GCU won the rebounding battle, 37-33.

Judy Jones posted her second-consecutive double-double, finishing with game highs of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Johnna Brown added 12 points, while August Touchard had 11.

Milwaukee 84, at New Mexico State 81
The Aggies suffered their first home loss of the season with an 84-81 defeat to Milwaukee in the Hotel Encanto Thanksgiving Classic Saturday. With the loss, New Mexico State drops to 3-4 on the season. Milwaukee improves to 2-4 on the year with the win.

The Aggies shot 53 percent from the field, 39 percent from three-point range and 54 percent from the free throw line. Milwaukee connected on 47 percent from the floor, 50 percent from beyond the arc and 73 percent from the line. NM State edged Milwaukee on the boards, 37-35.

Brianna Freeman posted her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Sasha Weber led the team with 16 points. September Offutt had 14 points and Moriah Mack added 10.

Northern Arizona 80, at Utah Valley 66
The Wolverines were outscored 46-30 in the second half in an 80-66 loss to Northern Arizona at the UCCU Center Saturday. With the loss, Utah Valley drops to 1-6 on the season. Northern Arizona improves to 1-2 on the year with the win.

The Wolverines shot 45 percent from the field, 63 percent from three-point range and 55 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Lumberjacks connected on 41 percent from the floor, 27 percent from beyond the arc and 80 percent from the line. NAU dominated the boards, 46-33.

Tina Doughty led Utah Valley with 12 points, while Rhaiah Spooner-Knight added 10. Katie Kuklok finished with eight points and a team-high seven rebounds.
