Boise State 63, Utah Valley 60
Utah Valley dropped a barnburner, 63-60, to Boise State at Taco Bell Arena Thursday night. With the loss, their sixth straight, the Wolverines fall to 1-7 on the season. The Broncos improve to 4-3 on the year with the win.
Utah Valley shot 40 percent from the field, 24 percent from three-point range and 77 percent from the free throw line on the game. Boise State connected on 39 percent from the floor, 25 percent from downtown and 50 percent from the charity stripe. The Wolverines dominated the boards, 46-31, but committed 16 turnovers to the Broncos' seven.
Katie Kuklok finished the game with 29 points and eight rebounds, while Tina Dought added 14 points and eight boards. Sam Loggins had a team-high nine rebounds to go along with nine points.
