Idaho 83, Appalachian State 60
The Vandals defeated Appalachian State 83-60 at Dahlberg Arena to close out the Lady Griz Classic Saturday. With the win, Idaho improves to 6-4 on the season. The Mountaineers fall to 1-7 on the year with the loss.

The Vandals shot 46 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point range and 77 percent from the free throw line on the game. Appalachian State connected on 36 percent from the floor, 46 percent from beyond the arc and 62 percent from the charity stripe. The Mountaineers out-rebounded Idaho 44-40.

Stacey Barr led the Vandals with 23 points and 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Alyssa Charlston added 16 points, Christina Salvatore had 14 points, and Connie Ballestero and Brooke Reilly finished with 13 points apiece. Ballestero also dished out eight assists.

Eastern Michigan 75, Kansas City 66
The Kangaroos' two-game winning streak was ended with a 75-66 loss to Eastern Michigan at the Madonna Activities Center Saturday. With the loss, Kansas City falls to 2-7 on the season. The Eagles remain undefeated at 6-0 with the win.

The 'Roos shot 37 percent from the field, 29 percent from three-point range and 71 percent from the free throw line on the game. EMU connected on 36 percent from the floor, 24 percent from downtown and 69 percent from the line. Kansas City out-rebounded the Eagles 50-40, but committed 23 turnovers in the loss.

Taylor Strickland led Kansas City with 13 points, while Eilise O'Connor and Kelsey Barnwell had 12 points apiece and Grace Mitchell finished with 10. Taylor Leathers grabbed a team-high 10 boards.

Cal Poly 63, Bakersfield 54
The Roadrunners lost a 63-54 contest to Cal Poly at the Mott Athletics Center Saturday. With the loss, Bakersfield falls to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs improve to 5-4 on the season with the win.

The Roadrunners shot 32 percent from the field, 25 percent from three-point range and 69 percent from the free throw line on the game. Cal Poly connected on 34 percent from the floor, 43 percent from beyond the arc and 67 percent from the charity stripe. The Mustangs edged Bakersfield on the boards, 46-43, and forced 19 Roadrunner turnovers.

Brooklynn Hinkens led Bakersfield with 11 points, while Melissa Sweat and Shaquita Smith added eight points apiece. Batabe Zempare led all players with 14 rebounds.

New Mexico 65, New Mexico State 55
The Aggies fell 65-55 to instate rival New Mexico Saturday night at The Pit. With the loss, New Mexico State drops to 3-6 on the season. The Lobos improve to 4-4 with the win.

The Aggies shot 33 percent from the field, 21 percent from three-point range and 50 percent from the free throw line on the game. UNM connected on 45 percent from the floor, 50 percent from downtown and 54 percent from the line. The Lobos won the rebounding battle, 43-34.

Sasha Weber led NM State with 11 points, while September Offutt added 10 points and nine rebounds. Brianna Freeman finished with nine points.

Weber State 79, Utah Valley 64
After leading at halftime, the Wolverines were outscored by 18 points in the second half en route to a 79-64 loss to Weber State at the Dee Events Center Saturday afternoon. With the loss, Utah Valley falls to 1-8 on the season. The Wildcats improve to 4-3 on the season with the victory.

The Wolverines shot 42 percent from the field, 44 percent from three-point range and 74 percent from the free throw line on the game. Weber State connected on 46 percent from the floor, 35 percent from beyond the arc and 65 percent from the charity stripe on the game. The Wildcats dominated the boards, 45-29, and forced 23 Wolverine turnovers.

Tina Doughty led UVU with 27 points, while Katie Kuklok added 12 points and Sam Loggins scored 11 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

Detroit 85, Chicago State 64
The Cougars fell 85-64 to Detroit at Savage Arena to close out the Toledo Invite. With the loss, Chicago State drops to 1-8 on the season. The Titans improve to 3-7 on the year with the victory.

The Cougars shot 42 percent from the field, 24 percent from three-point range and 83 percent from the free throw line on the game. Detroit connected on 49 percent from the floor, 39 percent from downtown and 42 percent from the line. The Titans dominated the boards, 43-32.

Paris Williams led Chicago State with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Tierra Williams added 19 points. Chanel Wilson-Stewart posted a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
