SAN MARCOS, Texas - (NMSU Media Relations) The New Mexico State men's basketball team opened its WAC road trip to the Lone Star State with an 86-72 win at Texas State. The victory is the Aggies' eighth straight (14-8, 8-2 WAC).
Senior forward Bandja Sy posted his third double-double of the season with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore guard Daniel Mullings provided 22 points, and freshman center Sim Bhullar added 10 points. Sophomore forward Remi Barry also scored 10 points, which is a career-high mark.

Denver 71, UTSA 57
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -(DU Media Relations) University of Denver sophomore guard Brett Olson (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) scored 16 points, as the Pioneers cruised to a 71-57 win over Texas-San Antonio at the UTSA Convocation Center on Thursday night.
The Pioneers (12-8, 8-2 WAC) were sizzling from the start, hitting five three-pointers in the first 6:29 to take a 10-point lead, and Denver stretched that lead to as many as 28 points in the second half.

Seattle U 56, San Jose State 48
SEATTLE (AP) — Prince Obasi had 19 points, five rebounds and four assists to lead Seattle past San Jose State 56-48 on Thursday night.
Seattle (7-13, 2-8 WAC) trailed 22-20 at halftime but started the second half on a 21-9 run capped off by Obasi's lay-up with 7:41 remaining in the game to give the Redhawks a 41-31 lead and didn't look back.

Utah State 77, Idaho 67
MOSCOW, Idaho -(AP) Jarred Shaw had 27 points and nine rebounds Thursday night and Utah State snapped a four-game losing streak, beating Idaho 77-67.
Shaw made 12 of 15 shots from the field for the Aggies (15-5, 6-4 WAC), who shot 60 percent from the field as a team.
Marcel Davis scored 16 points and Spencer Butterfield had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Utah State, which never trailed in the game.
