LOGAN, Utah -(DU Media Relations) University of Denver men's basketball sophomore Brett Olson (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer in overtime to give the Pioneers a 63-60 victory over Utah State at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Thursday night.
"It was a great college basketball game," said head coach Joe Scott. "You have to give Utah State credit. They've dealt with an unbelievable amount of adversity this season, and their players and coaches have re-gathered themselves and are playing well. Our guys stayed calm the whole time tonight. We battled all game and came up big at the end."

Louisiana Tech 64, Seattle U 58
SEATTLE - (AP) Chris Anderson had 15 points and four steals as Louisiana Tech won its 14th straight game, defeating Seattle 64-58 Thursday night.
The Bulldogs (22-3, 13-0 Western Athletic) shot just 38 percent from the floor - compared to 46 percent by Seattle (7-17, 2-12) - and made only 14 of 26 free throws. But they took advantage of 23 Redhawks turnovers, leading to 21 Louisiana Tech points.
Brandon Gibson added 10 points for the Bulldogs.
Seattle, which has lost four in a row, got 12 points from D'Vonne Pickett Jr., 11 from Louis Green and 10 points and 10 rebounds from Clarence Trent.

New Mexico State 67, San Jose State 57
SAN JOSE - (NMSU Media Relations) The New Mexico State men's basketball team won its 12th consecutive game with a 67-57 victory at San Jose State. The Aggies (18-8, 12-2 WAC) had four players in double figures with sophomore guard Daniel Mullings leading the way with 15 points.
Junior forward Renaldo Dixon posted his first career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Senior forward Bandja Sy added 13 points and nine rebounds, and freshman center Sim Bhullar contributed 10 points.

UT Arlington 71, Idaho 68
MOSCOW, Idaho – Kevin Butler led a downtown barrage as UT Arlington held on to defeat Idaho 71-68 Thursday night at Cowan Spectrum.
UT Arlington improved to 13-9 overall and 8-5 in Western Athletic Conference after its fifth win in the last six games. The Mavericks are 9-3 on the road this season, including 5-1 in the WAC. Idaho dropped to 9-15 and 5-9.
"The guys played great defense and stuck to the game plan," UT Arlington coach Scott Cross said. "Kevin Butler hit some big shots. I'm really proud of our guys."
