New Mexico State 106, Utah State 94
New Mexico State snapped Utah State's eight-game winning streak with a 106-94 win at the Pan American Center Saturday. With the win, NM State improves to 11-14 overall and 5-10 in the WAC. USU drops to 14-11 on the season and 11-3 in WAC play.

New Mexico State shot 43 percent from the field, 39 percent from three-point range and 88 percent from the free throw line on the game. USU connected on 41 percent from the floor, 50 percent from beyond the arc and 96 percent from the charity stripe. NM State won the rebounding battle, 49-41.

Stefanie Gilbreath led NM State with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Danesia Williamson added 23 points and 10 assists.

Utah State was led by Devyn Christensen with 23 points. Jennifer Schlott added 18 points.

Seattle U 78, UT Arlington 64
Seattle U cruised to a 78-64 win over UT Arlington at the College Park Center Saturday. With the win, the Redhawks improve to 15-9 on the season and 12-3 in the WAC. The Mavericks drop to 5-19 overall and 3-11 in WAC play.

Seattle U shot 50 percent from the floor, 39 percent from three-point range and 66 percent from the free throw line on the game. UTA connected on 39 percent from the field, 30 percent from downtown and 62 percent from the charity stripe. Both team pulled down 35 boards.

Ashley Ward led Seattle U with 24 points, while Kacie Sowell posted a double-double of 23 points and 12 boards.

Kelsey Wilson paced the Mavericks with 12 points, while Laila Suleiman added 11.

UTSA 74, Texas State 65
UTSA overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat Texas State 74-65 Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center. With the win, the Roadrunners improve to 14-11 overall and 8-6 in the WAC. The Bobcats drop to 9-15 on the season and 3-11 in WAC play.

UTSA shot 51 percent from the field, 32 percent from three-point range and 63 percent from the free throw line on the game. Texas State connected on 56 percent from the field, 63 percent from beyond the arc and 64 percent from the charity stripe. The Roadrunners out-rebounded the Bobcats 29-22 and forced 19 Texas State turnovers.

Whitney Wright and Simone Young led UTSA with 14 points each, while Kamra King added 13.

Diamond Ford led Texas State with 20 points, while Ayriel Anderson added 16 points.

Louisiana Tech 64, Idaho 62
Whitney Frazier hit a three-pointer with .2 seconds remaining to lift Louisiana Tech to a 64-62 victory over Idaho Saturday at the Thomas Assembly Center. With the win, the Lady Techsters improve to 12-13 overall and 8-6 in the WAC. The Vandals fall to 12-14 on the season and 9-6 in WAC play.

LA Tech shot 40 percent from the field, 20 percent from three-point range and 53 percent from the charity stripe. Idaho connected on 35 percent from the floor, 17 percent from downtown and 82 percent from the charity stripe. Both teams grabbed 43 rebounds.

Brittany Lewis led LA Tech with 18 points, while Frazier finished with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Stacey Barr paced Idaho with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Denver 83, San Jose State 68
Denver used a huge first half en route to an 83-68 win over San Jose State at Magness Arena Saturday. With the victory, the Pioneers move to 12-14 on the season and 7-8 in WAC play. The Spartans drop to 9-16 overall and 6-8 in the WAC.

DU shot 52 percent from the floor, 44 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line. SJSU connected on 42 percent from the field, 22 percent from beyond the arc and 86 percent from the free thwo line. The Pioneers edged the Spartans on the boards, 35-34.

Morgan Van Riper-Rose led DU with 18 points, while Kailey Edwards added 16 points. Emiko Smith dished out 12 assists.

Ta'Rea Cunnigan paced SJSU with 26 points, while Emily Schill added 17 points.
