Blanco, Texas - The Texas State women's golf team earned its second team victory of the season Monday, winning the Jim West Challenge by 19 strokes over East Tennessee State. The Bobcats led wire to wire, putting them one victory away from tying the school record set last year with three.

Iman Nordin was the top player for Texas State on Monday, shooting the best round of the day by any player in the field, carding an even-par 72. She finished as the individual champion, one stroke better than Illinois State's Rachel Powers. It is the first career victory for Nordin in her second season at Texas State.

Krista Puisite posted her fifth top-five finish of the year, and her fourth top-three. She tied for runner-up honors, one stroke behind Nordin with a three-over 75.

The Bobcats will now have a month off before having the Mountainview Collegiate on March 15-16 in Tuscon, Ariz.
