Utah State 67, Seattle U 62
Utah State took sole possession of first place in the WAC with a 67-62 win over Seattle Saturday at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. With the win, the Aggies improve to 12-10 overall and 9-2 in the WAC. The Redhawks fall to 11-9 overall and 8-3 in league games.

Utah State shot 31 precent from the field, 35 percent from three-point range and 78 percent from the free throw line. Seattle U connected on 32 percent from the field and 75 percent from the charity stripe, but was 0-for-8 from downtown. The Redhawks dominated the boards, 53-34, but committed 19 turnovers in the loss.

Devyn Christensen led all scorers with 28 points and is now nine points shy of the Utah State career scoring record of 1,353. Jennifer Schlott added 13 points, while Jenna Johnson grabbed a team-leading 13 rebounds.

Kacie Sowell led Seattle U with a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds. Brenda Adhiambo also posted a double-double of 13 points and 11 boards.

Idaho 83, San Jose State 66
Idaho hit 14 three-pointers en route to an 83-66 win over San Jose State at The Event Center Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Vandals improve to 10-12 overall and 7-4 in the WAC. The Spartans drop to 9-13 on the year and 6-5 in WAC play.

Idaho shot 41 percent from the field, 39 percent from three-point range and 85 percent from the free throw line on the game. SJSU connected on 40 percent from the floor, 31 percent from downtown and just 46 percent from the charity stripe. The Spartans edged the Vandals on the boards, 44-43, but committed 14 turnovers to Idaho's 10.

Christina Salvatore led Idaho with 22 points, while Jessica Graham had 16, and Stacey Barr and Alyssa Charlston added 14 each. Ali Forde grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds.

Emily Schill and Ta'Rea Cunnigan led SJSU with 14 points each, while Riana Byrd added 13 points and Chereese Thomas had 12. Cunnigan also grabbed a game-high 14 boards for her second double-double of the season.

Louisiana Tech 78, UT Arlington 62
LA Tech held UT Arlington to just 19 first half points and went on to a 78-62 win at the College Park Center Saturday. With the victory, the Lady Techsters improve to 10-11 on the season and 6-4 in the WAC. The Mavericks drop to 3-17 overall and 1-9 in WAC play.

LA Tech shot 45 percent from the field, 67 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line on the game. UTA connected on 35 percent from the floor, 23 percent from downtown and 77 percent from the charity stripe. The Lady Techsters won the rebounding battle 40-38.

Lulu Perry led all players with 21 points, while Kelia Shelton added 17 and Whitney Frazier had 15.

UTA was paced by Desherra Nwanguma with 15 points and Kelsey Wilson with 14.

UTSA 66, New Mexico State 53
UTSA went on a 16-1 run and held New Mexico State without a basket for 11 minutes and 27 seconds en route to a 66-53 victory on Saturday night at the Pan American Center. With the win,  the Roadrunners improve to 12-10 on the season and 6-5 WAC in the WAC. The Aggies drop to 9-12 overall and 3-8 in WAC play.

UTSA shot 40 percent from the field, 43 percent from beyond the arc and 71 percent from the free throw line for the contest. New Mexico State shot 35 percent from the floor, 33 percent from downtown and 74 percent from the charity stripe. UTSA dominated the glass, 40-28, and forced 17 Aggie turnovers.

UTSA's Ashley Spaletta tied a career high with 18 points, while Cori Cooper added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Stefanie Gilbreath scored 16 points to lead the Aggies, while Sasha Weber added 12.

Denver 75, Texas State 62
Denver jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back and went on to a 75-62 win over Texas State Saturday. With the win, the Pioneers improve to 11-11 overall and 6-5 in the WAC. The Bobcats drop to 8-13 on the season and 2-9 in WAC play.

Denver shot 48 percent from the field, 39 percent from downtown and 77 percent from the free throw line on the game. Texas State connected on 33 percent from the floor, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 76 percent from the free throw line. The Pioneers dominated the boards, 47-29.

Michaela Neuhaus led a group of five DU players in double-digit scoring with 15 points. Morgan Van Riper-Rose added 14 points, while Emiko Smith posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 assists. Maiya Michel grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds.

Diamond Ford scored a game-high 21 points. Erin Peoples added a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Ford moved into fourth place all time on the Texas State career scoring list with 1,706 points.
