INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Denver sophomore swimmer
Samantha Corea finished 47th in the 200 backstroke at the NCAA Championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. Corea completed the event with a time of 1:57.73 in the preliminary round.
The Pioneer sophomore finished 37th in the 100 backstroke on Friday, finishing that race with a preliminary time of 53.73.
Her NCAA performance brings a closeto the 2012-13 season that saw Corea received WAC Swimmer of the Year honors, after breaking WAC records in both the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke at the conference championship meet. Corea also received WAC Swimmer of the Week honors three times this season.
